Annual Day of Giving

We are so grateful for all donations to our Annual Fund to celebrate the Annual Day of Giving. Proceeds will purchase items from the EUMK Wish List below.

Students and Staff will each bring fifty coins to fill the EUMK Bucket.

EUMK will use these coins to Replace, Replenish, and Repair needs in our own square inch.

Over the years, EUMK has joined hands with a variety of organizations to serve as beacons of compassion. We believe that empathy can be taught at a young age. We refer to the empathy process as “Filling the Bucket.” Allowing our students to connect to a need and to be game changers in small ways inspires each of them to see they can make a difference in our world today.

Thursday, 4/22 - PJ Day

Friday, 4/23 - Hat Day

Sunday, 4/25 - Kindergarten Sunday @ 11:00am Church Service (In Person or Live Stream)

Our Senior Kindergarten Class will be honored at this time.

EUMK’s Story

Fifty years ago, Emmanuel United Methodist Church opened its doors to young children by creating a preschool that continues to serve one through five-year-old learners.

Nelie Waller founded the early childhood program which originally began as one class of four-year old learners and one class of kindergarteners.

In 1988 and every five years since, EUMK has received the prestigious accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Today, EUMK serves a student population of 156 with 30 teachers.

The power of EUMK’s story is a strong one, built on a firm foundation to provide each child with a nurturing learning environment that encourages social, emotional, physical, spiritual and cognitive development. It defines who we are. Our storylines are threaded throughout our school culture. They provide the fuel that encourages us to live out our mission statement on a daily basis.
