Dear EUMK Family,
Keeping our children healthy and safe is a priority at EUMK.
To proactively fight the spread of COVID-19, EUMK has decided to close its campus for the next two weeks (March 16-29).
After meeting about preventative measures with experts in our medical community, we believe that closing school for these next two weeks will be in the best interest of our students, staff, and Memphis community.
We recognize that many families have made travel plans for Spring Break.
This extra week away from school gives each of you the gift of time with family, but most importantly, additional days to observe your group for any symptoms of the coronavirus.
Over the next two weeks, our cleaning staff will deep clean the entire school.
Our SK students who are required to attend school for 180 days will be receiving information from me about additional work to complete away from school. Mrs. Hogue and Mrs. Wyatt sent some of this information home today.
Thank you for your understanding as we make changes to our school routine, which certainly impacts all of us. We are committed to keeping each of our children healthy and safe.
