Educating Children Twelve Months through Kindergarten
It's Back to School time! And we are ready to see all our friends again.
We have prepared carefully so that we can get back to school safely.
Our protocols and guidelines will allow EUMK to open its doors for the 2020-2021 school year while maneuvering the COVID-19 pandemic.
It provides steps to follow under the various public health scenarios associated with the pandemic. It shares protocols, approaches and measureable actions to prevent the spread of disease as well as permitting EUMK to reassess decisions if the nature of this virus changes. It is our intent to provide a safe and healthy school environment to each student, as well as its staff and administrative team.
The beginning of every school year is an incredibly exciting AND busy time for all of us. By adding a public health pandemic full of uncertainties into this mix, EUMK has had to approach the beginning of this school year with new eyes. We understand that our policies may need to adjust and adapt as new information becomes available.
Our mission statement focuses on nurturing the whole child in the areas of social, emotional, physical, spiritual and cognitive development. Additionally, we are addressing the physical health of the entire EUMK family. It is essential for our school and family community to work together.
Transparency will be a key part of our communication. It is important to share information with our families. We will share what we know, what we are unsure of, and what is out of our control. We are interested in providing the safest return to school AND a quality EMMANUEL experience for your child.
Please read our protocols and guidelines, and let us know if you have any questions.
The mission of Emmanuel United Methodist Kindergarten is
to provide children with a nurturing learning environment that
encourages social, emotional, physical, spiritual, and cognitive development.
